Puro 12/24 automated DNA/RNA extraction

¿Qué es?

The Puro 12/24 Automated Extraction System is a fully automated nucleic acid purification system. Utilizing silica membrane based nucleic acid isolation technology, it can purify nucleic acid with high yield and purity from a wide range of sample types.

The automated steps performed by the Puro 12/24 Automatic Extraction System include:

• Sample lysis with a specially formulated Lysis Buffer on the heating block.

• Binding nucleic acid to the silica membrane on a designated column

• Purifying bound target molecules from other cellular components

• Eluting purified product to the elution tubes

The Puro 12/24 Automated Extraction System is intended to use with GenoPure Extraction Cartridge series to perform automated purification of nucleic acids. The nucleic acid purified with the Puro 12/24 Automated Extraction System is suitable for direct downstream analysis by standard amplification methods.

¿Por qué es diferente?

All necessary reagents and components are prefilled in the cartridge, minimizing hands-on setup time. The whole workflow will be done in the same cartridge, reducing contamination and the need of batching.

Puro is able to purify 1-12 or 1-24 samples simultaneously. All samples are placed in independent channels to avoid any cross contamination.

Silica membrane ensures higher nucleic acid integrity, recovery yield and purity than magnetic beads.
